Length of time doing CrossFit – 6 years…came to 817 (I believe) in 2012 as a fundamentals coach. Was introduced to it by a friend as my first WOD exposure was ring rows and some other elements on a hot summer day, in a guys garage. I have no recollection of what happened that day.
Favorite WOD – Diane because I like hspus and deadlifts. Any WOD with burpees, I’m ok with as well. I’m also a Strongman junkie!
Least Favorite – Karen because only doing wall balls for 150 reps is just plain mean. Kelly ranks right up there after Karen.
Favorite WOD music – I’m easy going minus country, hard core rap, or heavy metal. If it has an upbeat tempo, I’m content.
What it means to me – the older I get, the more important it is for me to stay mentally and physically healthy. I get that challenge in both of those aspects with CrossFit. Being able to share that passion with others just makes it more rewarding when you see that same change in other people’s lives.
