What is Outside The Box?

Outside the Box is a comprehensive program that places an emphasis on nutrition, sleep, and recovery so you can maximize your health and performance at CrossFit 817. You will find this program has a high level of personalization, accountability, flexibility, and results for those willing to commit. Whether you set your goals at fat loss, muscle gain, or performance, you will have all the help and support you could ask for to meet those goals.


CrossFit is designed to promote functional and well-rounded fitness. In order to get the most from your time inside the box you also need to focus on what happens outside the box. Adequate amounts of food to fuel your fitness is essential and when combined with adequate sleep and stress management you will see results that last!

Goal Setting

Do you want to be lighter, faster, or stronger? Why choose?? You can have all three when you give your body what it needs to perform at its potential. Your nutrition plan will be personalized for you and your goals. Mentoring is provided through CrossFit 817 to help you understand your plan and set benchmarks and mini goals to keep you moving in the right direction.


You are not alone! You’ll be joining a group of 817 members who are in it with you. Get answers to your questions, support and accountability through our exclusive Facebook group. We have monthly seminars and get together where we learn, laugh, and get to know each other. Plus, you get access, on demand, to an experienced mentor who will help guide you through the program step-by-step.
